How charming can you be?

We are mad about charms and have added lots more to our collection and if you're anything like us you'll love choosing and creating your own little story through the charms.

That's why we are running a COMPETITION to give you the chance of creating your very own charm bracelet by picking 5 of your favourite charms that mean something special to you.

We asked  Kathleen to choose 5 charms which represent her from our new collection. She was so excited and at first couldn't decide as there are so many gorgeous ones to choose from. After much deliberation, she chose the shoe because she loves shoes and has hundreds of pairs in her wardrobe!

She also chose the swarovski crystal charm as like all girls, loves a bit of bling and sparkle!

For those of you who didn't know, Kathleen is also a very talented singer and has sung in the Shanghai Shuffle in Glasgow for 17 years now which is why she chose the two musical notes.

And lastly she decided to pick the Orli Jewellery heart charm as not only does she love the jewellery but she's also our ambassador.

She is delighted with her new bracelet and cannot wait for it to be finished. We will upload a photo of the finished product once we've made it so watch out for our next blog post!

For the chance to WIN, have a look at our gorgeous collection of charms above and pick your favourite  5 then leave us a comment on our Facebook page to let us know why you chose them! You also have to like and share our page to be in with the chance to win! Good luck!

Two Tone Trend...

Have you ever wondered how to wear your gold and silver jewellery together? Well wonder no more as the two tone jewellery trend hits the runways! We cannot get enough of this trend and think it's a great way to get the most out of your jewellery collection!

You don't have to choose between white or solid yellow so pile it on and make a statement! One of the best things about this trend is that it's a great way of updating your autumn/winter wardrobe without spending too much money on new clothes. And it's such a versitile way of wearing your jewellery! Our two tone heart charm bracelet is bang on trend and is a must have this season!

We also have a great selection of two tonal necklaces for you to choose from like our trio of hearts necklace. These pieces have been known to make people literally stop in their tracks!

Once Upon a Time Charms...

Here at Orli Jewellery a very special charm bracelet caught our eye! Our ambassador, Kathleen McDermott, is a very busy lady and she is also involved with the children's charity With Kids. The Once Upon a Time Fans have organised an auction for With Kids and have so far raised over £1300 for the charity which is fantastic!

We couldn't help but notice there was a lovely custom fan made charm bracelet up for auction, which you can see below. It was created by Nancy Pederson with charms which she felt represented iconic moments from the hit ABC TV series 'Once Upon a Time'. It's not one of ours but we think it's lovely and hope they raise lots of money for a wonderful charity!

We were inspired by this bracelet and thought that you might be inspired to personalise your very own charm bracelet! Watch this space for more information on when we will be launching this exciting new feature! You can be as creative as you like and it will give you the opportunity for you to tell your own story through the charms!

We love the sparkles and hearts on our Crystal Hearts Charm Bracelet! Next week we're going to add a pop of colour to this charm bracelet with coloured Swarovski Crystals. What colours would you choose? Let us know by leaving a comment on our Facebook page.

Thanks, we very much appreciate your feedback!

Santa's little helpers at Orli...

We know it's far too early to be talking about Christmas but without Santa's little helpers here at Orli there wouldn't be any presents for Santa to deliver under the tree! We have been going non-stop lately to get all of the pieces of jewellery finished in time for Christmas. At Orli we work directly with many European designers but did you know that we make and hand-finish our jewellery too?

Each piece of Orli Jewellery is adorned with high quality materials such as water pearls, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. We think this makes our jewellery that little bit more special and is a perfect gift for yourself or that special someone! We have taken some photos for you to have a look at some of the tools and materials we use when making our jewellery.

The most important tools in jewellery making are the pliers. Jewellery makers buy them in different shapes and they are used for a variety of functions such as crimping and cutting the jewellery. When we're making the pearl bracelet we use them for making openings and closings in the loops.

Without these tools we would not have been able to make our beautiful water pearl charm bracelet which we absolutely love! Keep an eye out for our next blog post which will be about personalising your very own charm bracelet! If you would like to view the full range of our collection then please have a look at our website where you can order all of your Christmas goodies by clicking here!

Kathleen's holiday Jewelspiration

Our new face of Orli Jewellery, Kathleen McDermott has been relaxing and sunning herself in the Canary Islands while we've been getting rained on back at home! We met up with Kathleen to see what she got up to on her holiday and to see if she enjoyed wearing the Orli Jewellery pieces that she had chosen before she jetted off.

Kathleen absolutely loved wearing the Key To My Heart Necklace and paired it with a vibrant green dress when she was on holiday which was a stunning evening look. She also wore our Fine Satin Heart Charm Bracelet (which you can see above) and made everyone, especially her Aunt, green with envy!

If you were at the With Kids Autumn Ball and Fashion Show on Friday night you would have seen that Kathleen was the host for the evening. We posted a picture onto our Facebook page of her looking as beautiful as ever (which you can see below) and asked you if you could spot which pieces of Orli Jewellery she was wearing.

One of the pieces she wore was our Chunky Satin Heart Necklace! We think the jewellery completed her outfit and made her sparkle!

What a fantastic event to be involved in which raised over £21, 000 for the children's charity!

If you want to add a bit of glamour and sparkle to your outfits or if you want to spoil that special someone, you can visit our website by clicking here.

Life, growth, peace, freedom and romance...all in one beautiful necklace!

If you've been watching our Facebook page lately you'll have noticed lots of new likes on the page and our exciting news that BAFT award winning actress, Kathleen McDermott is to be the new face of Orli Jewellery. We are delighted to have Kathleen on board and with the growth of our Facebook community, please continue to tell your friends, family, and colleagues about our page.

We encourage your comments her on the blog and on the Facebook page and we've noticed lots of comments about our 'Key to My Heart' and 'Tree of Life' necklaces - they seem to be favourites at the moment. They're not only fashionable but extremely practical, the chain can be worn long or short meaning you can have a more casual length during the day and the shorter, more formal look in the evening - ideal if you're traveling!

These 'themed' necklaces are extremely popular right now and we'll continue to develop the range so you can choose exactly the right piece for the occasion. We thought you might be interested to know more about these pieces so, we'll start by explaining the inspiration behind the 'Tree of Life' necklace shown here.

The Tree of Life Necklace
The tree symbolises life whilst growth is symbolised with the leaf. The bird is for peace and freedom (lot's of our pieces feature birds of peace and feelings of nature). In addition, we like to think you're life will feature some romance so we have included the well know and extremely popular Orli heart. All in all, it's a stunning piece of eye-catching jewellery that's sure to be a talking point.

You can find out more about the 'Tree of Life' necklace at our online store...Click Here
