Once Upon a Time Charms...

Here at Orli Jewellery a very special charm bracelet caught our eye! Our ambassador, Kathleen McDermott, is a very busy lady and she is also involved with the children's charity With Kids. The Once Upon a Time Fans have organised an auction for With Kids and have so far raised over £1300 for the charity which is fantastic!

We couldn't help but notice there was a lovely custom fan made charm bracelet up for auction, which you can see below. It was created by Nancy Pederson with charms which she felt represented iconic moments from the hit ABC TV series 'Once Upon a Time'. It's not one of ours but we think it's lovely and hope they raise lots of money for a wonderful charity!

We were inspired by this bracelet and thought that you might be inspired to personalise your very own charm bracelet! Watch this space for more information on when we will be launching this exciting new feature! You can be as creative as you like and it will give you the opportunity for you to tell your own story through the charms!

Santa's little helpers at Orli...

We know it's far too early to be talking about Christmas but without Santa's little helpers here at Orli there wouldn't be any presents for Santa to deliver under the tree! We have been going non-stop lately to get all of the pieces of jewellery finished in time for Christmas. At Orli we work directly with many European designers but did you know that we make and hand-finish our jewellery too?

Each piece of Orli Jewellery is adorned with high quality materials such as water pearls, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. We think this makes our jewellery that little bit more special and is a perfect gift for yourself or that special someone! We have taken some photos for you to have a look at some of the tools and materials we use when making our jewellery.

The most important tools in jewellery making are the pliers. Jewellery makers buy them in different shapes and they are used for a variety of functions such as crimping and cutting the jewellery. When we're making the pearl bracelet we use them for making openings and closings in the loops.

Without these tools we would not have been able to make our beautiful water pearl charm bracelet which we absolutely love! Kathleen's holiday Jewelspiration

Our new face of Orli Jewellery, Kathleen McDermott has been relaxing and sunning herself in the Canary Islands while we've been getting rained on back at home! We met up with Kathleen to see what she got up to on her holiday and to see if she enjoyed wearing the Orli Jewellery pieces that she had chosen before she jetted off.

Kathleen absolutely loved wearing the Key To My Heart Necklace and paired it with a vibrant green dress when she was on holiday which was a stunning evening look. She also wore our Fine Satin Heart Charm Bracelet (which you can see above) and made everyone, especially her Aunt, green with envy!

If you were at the With Kids Autumn Ball and Fashion Show on Friday night you would have seen that Kathleen was the host for the evening. We posted a picture onto our Facebook page of her looking as beautiful as ever (which you can see below) and asked you if you could spot which pieces of Orli Jewellery she was wearing.

One of the pieces she wore was our Chunky Satin Heart Necklace! We think the jewellery completed her outfit and made her sparkle!

What a fantastic event to be involved in which raised over £21, 000 for the children's charity!

Life, growth, peace, freedom and romance...all in one beautiful necklace!

If you've been watching our Facebook page lately you'll have noticed lots of new likes on the page and our exciting news that BAFT award winning actress, Kathleen McDermott is to be the new face of Orli Jewellery. We are delighted to have Kathleen on board and with the growth of our Facebook community, please continue to tell your friends, family, and colleagues about our page.

We encourage your comments her on the blog and on the Facebook page and we've noticed lots of comments about our 'Key to My Heart' and 'Tree of Life' necklaces - they seem to be favourites at the moment. They're not only fashionable but extremely practical, the chain can be worn long or short meaning you can have a more casual length during the day and the shorter, more formal look in the evening - ideal if you're traveling!

The Tree of Life Necklace

The tree symbolises life whilst growth is symbolised with the leaf. The bird is for peace and freedom (lot's of our pieces feature birds of peace and feelings of nature).
